I proclaimed 2022 as my year. Born on the 22nd, the number 22 has always held a special, almost infamous, significance in my life.
When 2022 rolled around, I was elated. To everyone, I declared, “This is going to be my year. This is my time.”
Yet, by September, it felt like the universe had other plans.

When life disintegrates before your eyes, perspective is everything. I’ve learned how to craft lemonade from the sourest of lemons. I refuse to wallow in negativity because these setbacks don’t define me. Instead, they underscore my resilience and tenacious faith. What’s truly meant for you can never be taken away. Recognizing this, you learn to let things and people go without a struggle.
